Scottish wedding in Tuscany

Wedding Photographer in Borgo I Vicelli, Florence

I so much enjoyed this intimate lovely wedding. In a very unusual June for us as it rained almost every day, with a sky really similar to the ones we can admire over the Scottish highlands.

Working the first time in this venue Borgo i Vicelli just above Florence hills was a nice new experience. As much as working and meeting two beautiful ladies Simonetta and Deborah owner of Italian Event Planner Tuscany who greatly organised this event.

Siobhan was so full of grace in her extreme elegant and sparkling gown designed by Pronovias and the bridesmaids stunning wearing a very eccentric shade of pink dresses by Phase Eight. While groom as all the other men of the families in traditional Scottish attire.

Dinner and cake was managed by the restaurant of the venue Ristorante al 588, I must say delicious as I tried their food as well ….hummy

And the great final was a magical ice cream van by Gelato Frullallà that I could not stop to photograph

And this is the way I like to photographed this day as the real beauty is in the simplicity.

When the abbey has no roof
Wedding Photographer in San Galgano Abbey, Siena   There is a magic place in Tuscany that seem to come out from a Middle Ages storybook. Is the Abbey with no roof..the Abbey of San Galgano. This is the place that Brian and Louise have chosen for their wedding. Under a cloudy sky they looked each other and said I do while a music of violins danced in the air and the rain waited to fall. Thank you Brian and Louise for choosing my homeland for your special day and thank you for letting me try this unique experience. This is a story of dreamers
Wedding Photographer in La Bandita Country House, Siena   I have seen quite few weddings since I started this work and so you would think I am quite used to them and I am used to certain emotions, but indead and I need to be honest I must admit that that sometimes I am still that little girl in the corner looking up the couple dreaming castels on the clouds and thinking good things are still possible in life if you only believe. And I am so lucky to be that little girl, despite my age. This really explain why I still cry sometimes at weddings and why I shared a tear this time even during the editing process. A traditional Eritrean wedding under the tuscan sun
Wedding Photographer in Tenuta I Massini, Empoli   One of the things I love the most about this crazy job is the opportunity to meet always new people and cultures so far from mine that otherwise I would perhaps never got to know. And that is how I got to meet the tradition, food, dances and colors of a country so far as Eritrea. Thanks to these wonderful people I could taste their food and listen to different music, although unfortunately the difficulty of the language not let me understand the words I could breathe the same all the love that was in the air.        venue: I Massini event planner: Glam Events in ...
