My modern Monnalisa

There is a place here in Tuscany in the heart of Chianti where the gaze is lost thorught the golden vineyards.

There is a place which seems to come out of a movie and where once echoed the words of a famous Shakespeare’s comedy.

In this place, surrounded by these walls people say the Master Leonardo Da Vinci painted the most famous smile of the world, La Gioconda.

This is where Nick and Vicky looked into each other eyes and after shared a tear they said “for ever” under a sky of smiles.

Maybe because when you happen to be in such a place the words you want to hear are “for ever” or maybe there are a milion other reasons but I will remember her “for ever” as my modern Monnalisa.
