Villa Lario, Lake of Como
With Terra and Alex I started this wedding season 2019. Strange year this one, a year of changes and definitions to be. I could not ask better than driving up to the lake of como where I love the sense of decadences there it’s like living in old beginning of 1900, like living at another speed. Eveything goes slower on the lake shore, even your breathing. I took a break, looking at the lakshore while crossing with the ferry. It’s probably time to take things how they come, and be the best you can. To welcome who is ready to get in and let the rest behind.
When I photograph is not just a job to me, it’s like a personal project every time, it’s part of my life is always becoming something else. When I work is part of what I am, and when it’s time to say goodbye I hope the leave with a something good we shared together.
I felt this happened this time on the lake, I felt love, life and excitement. I felt friendship. Good feeling and joy.
I need to come close when I shoot so to feel what you feel. I need to see what you see so that I can feel what you feel.
It is not a photograph, it is a meeting of feelings that converge together.
I returned home once again with a but of the lake in my heart and a greater sense of peace, and for once again I managed not to fall off the boat despite my poor sense of balance
Special thanks to the venue Villa Lario
