Imagine an old courtyard, a place lost in time where once you could see the animals that spent their day in the sun, and the farmers got up at dawn to work the fields.
Back in those days there was always a big party on saturdays and everyone came from nearby fields to have a glass of wine and eat together and forget the toil of work while waiting for the day of rest.
This is the atmosphere that I felt while I took these photographs and I was reminded of the stories of the elderly I heard as a child.
A dive in a past that is not so distant.
