The Land of Pinocchio

Wedding Photographer in Villa Sermolli, Pistoia

“Centuries ago there lived– “A king!” my little readers will say immediately. No, children, you are mistaken. Once upon a time there was a piece of wood. It was not an expensive piece of wood. Far from it. Just a common block of firewood, one of those thick, solid logs that are put on the fire in winter to make cold rooms cozy and warm”.

I decided to start this post with the very first words of the Adventure of Pinocchio written by Carlo Collodi not very far from the venue where this wedding was celebrated.

I chose Pinocchio because the little protagonist of this wedding fairy tale is a young boy who reminded me in a way the famous marionette. And by the way Pinocchio was also my favorite tale of my childhood.

So let’s make our how tale here, let’s take a fairy wrapped in a butterfly dress and a gentle knight. Let’s take a palace and crystals chandeliers. Let’s take a dreaming villa and in the middle of all this let’s Pinocchio have fun…and you will live an extraordinary day. You will end up dancing under a rain of streamers and confetti surrounded by palm trees.

This day made me a child again. Stories can be all around you if you let out of your heart.

I really need to thank the little boy of this story as it’s just for him who launched his puppet lion to his mom if I won a prestigious Fearless Award.

A traditional Eritrean wedding under the tuscan sun
Wedding Photographer in Tenuta I Massini, Empoli   One of the things I love the most about this crazy job is the opportunity to meet always new people and cultures so far from mine that otherwise I would perhaps never got to know. And that is how I got to meet the tradition, food, dances and colors of a country so far as Eritrea. Thanks to these wonderful people I could taste their food and listen to different music, although unfortunately the difficulty of the language not let me understand the words I could breathe the same all the love that was in the air.        venue: I Massini event planner: Glam Events in ...

Villa Lario, Lake of Como
With Terra and Alex I started this wedding season 2019. Strange year this one, a year of changes and definitions to be. I could not ask better than driving up to the lake of como where I love the sense of decadences there it’s like living in old beginning of 1900, like living at another speed. Eveything goes slower on the lake shore, even your breathing. I took a break, looking at the lakshore while crossing with the ferry. It’s probably time to take things how they come, and be the best you can. To welcome who is ready to get in and let the rest behind. When I photograph is not just a job to me, it’s like a personal project every time ...

The house of a poet
Wedding Photographer in Certaldo   Certaldo is the name of a small village in the middle of Tuscany. It is the birthplace of a great poet who built the history of the italian language. Il Signor Boccaccio.... Around there are vineyards and olive trees fields until your eyes can see. Jason and Monique came all the way from Australia to see this magical place, to say "I do" under the ancient fresco ceiling.
